Studies conveyed in different coutries reveal that effective teachers are the most important factor contributing to student achievement. Therefore, it's not beacuse of the technology, programmes, books, school equipment, exams, or ministry of education that our little ones succeed. It's the human being behind the desk who creates the process of learning, and, consequently, creates the pupil. Every teacher leaves their handprints on every single student in the classroom. That is why teachers should never underestimate the power of impact that they have, nor should they forget about the responsiblity that they shoulder. Being a teacher comprises so many other professions: actor, artist, clown, conductor, detective, diplomat, educator, foster parent, gardener, manager, musician, nanny, nurse, paper worker, policeman, psychologist, quality inspector, safety engineer, scientist, singer, therapist, tourist guide, zookeeper. In fact, teachers create all other professions! Furthermore, educators are responsible not only for the work they do, but also for the little peaople that they are supposed to teach. And by teaching I mean inspiring, encouraging, guiding, shaping, enriching, caring, hugging and loving. In other words, teaching is building a relationship with one's pupils; showing our faith in them and guiding them so that they can reach the stars! When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a teacher.
