Welcome in my little world of English!

Being a teacher comprises so many other professions: actor, artist, clown, conductor, detective, diplomat, educator, foster parent, gardener, manager, musician, nanny, nurse, paper worker, policeman, psychologist, quality inspector, safety engineer, scientist, singer, therapist, tourist guide, zookeeper. In fact, teachers create all other professions! Furthermore, educators are responsible not only for the work they do, but also for the little peaople that they are supposed to teach. And by teaching I mean inspiring, encouraging, guiding, shaping, enriching, caring, hugging and loving. In other words, teaching is building a relationship with one's pupils; showing our faith in them and guiding them so that they can reach the stars!

When I was a little girl, I wanted to be a teacher. The dream came true some years later and here I am: a teacher of English in a bilingual school and preschool! With each and every year I realise how responsible and beautiful my job is. And here I am again: willing to share with you all that I know and much more than eager to learn as well.

So let's get started! Welcome to my little world of English.

P.S. Here are some bits of positivity about teachers and teaching that I especially love:

"The mediocre teacher tells.
The good teacher explains.
The superior teacher demonstrates.
The great teacher inspires."
~ William A. Ward ~

"Let us remember: one book, one pen, one child, and one teacher can change the world."
~ Malala Yousafzai ~

"To teach is to learn twice over."
~ Joseph Joubert ~

"The best part of teaching is that it matters. The hardest part of teaching is that every moment matters, every day."
